Are you my hero?
Unveil yourself
I took a month off posting here.
What replaced me?
What did you read?
Are you in Ithaca?
I’m a homebody
not a homer.
We all need heroes,
but why?
When were you called to take your place
on the stage?
I call you now.
Here is my poem:
The Pure
Think we are all
struggling to be heroes,
either too ferocious or
too timid,
too slouched or
too proud,
too low-effort or
too much force.
In stories, protagonists
struggle,
yet, in the end, they
succeed.
Now we bleed
and brand our martyr
robes,
a pre-paid road
to soul success
should be suspect
to the pure.
But
where
are
the
pure?

nice to see your words again, missed them
